CHRIS IANUZZI [ Digital Media Development ]

I am a creative and technical team leader, producer and programmer in interactive multimedia development. My work has excelled in being a visionary for corporate identity, web based communities, games, advertising and presentation works. I also have extensive experience as a musical composer/producer, sound designer and voice over producer for all media. I have also done significant research into the development of interactive 3D environments and have a great passion for it.

I have a background in high level programming for Director 8 (Lingo) and Flash CS3 (Action Script 3). I worked as a programmer with The Children's Television Workshop proprietary object oriented/C++ development system.

Interfaces

Women.com/CBS Early Show
This was the online interface for the joint project of Women.com and CBS The Early Show. I created the prototype interface to present the concept to CBS. Once the project was accepted and production began, I managed the designers, flash programmers and video editing personel as well as techincal concerns with IT and Q&A. Updates to the interface, video playback and quizzes were made weekly to match the television programming. I also created the music and sound sound design for the project.

Games

It Girl
This game was related to The CBS and Women.com project. It is based on a girl that arrives in Hollywood to realize her dream of becoming an It Girl. There are hints and clues along the way and pitfalls to avoid. The player can ask advice from various actresses such as Sarah Jessica Parker and a video window opens to reveal advice. I created the prototype of this game and the programming architecture as well as all music and sound design.

Music Game
This game was part of a series. Each ball (related to About.coms Logo) plays a music clip when clicked on. Each ball could be dragged onto the player page to be played sequentially as elements in a unique piece of music. There is an auto compose function that randomaly selects the sequence for the user. Each piece can be modified during playback to continuously create changes to the playback. There is a game mode which has three different levels of a Simon Says type of learning game. The next phase of this development was to have interchangable instrument sets and then to have pieces appear at different places across a site that could be hunted and collected like musical Easter Eggs. I created the concepts for this project as well programmed it entirely using Director and the language Lingo.

Romance-O-Rama
This was a Valentine's Day game that I made for About.com. The Romance-O-Rama would return a text answer to the question typed in. All answers were related to a product on the About.com site. When the answers were clicked on, a related page would open in a seperate browser. This was my concept that I programmed in Flash. I also created the music and sound design.
